  • Inturai achieves breakthrough with partner PQ Station secure networking for small form factor IoT devices use Post-quantum cryptography.
  • Positions Inturai to deploy quantum secure protocols in critical sectors worldwide, with some countries requiring critical sectors such as healthcare and defense to begin migrating in 2026 and be post-quantum secure by 2028.
  • Billions of devices worldwide run on it ESP32particularly in households and healthcare, but also in drone technology, surveillance robots, soldier health monitoring systems, remote-controlled explosive detection rovers and autonomous border patrol units.
  • Inturai has exclusive operational rights in the areas of defense, elderly care and home security.

Inturai Ventures Corp. is pleased to announce that it has successfully delivered together with its cybersecurity partner PQStation Quantum-safe encryption for connected devices Used in defense, elder care and home security sectors. Under the agreement, Inturai has exclusive rights to deploy PQStation’s technology in these sectors.

The joint work focused on securing MQTT traffic using post-quantum cryptography (PQC) on ESP32 chips, which are widely used in billions of devices worldwide.

The encryption was tested in two ways: once using PQC alone and once combining PQC with traditional security. Both maintained strong performance, showing low latency and minimal impact on power consumption, proving that even small, low-power devices can operate safely against future quantum threats.

This advancement is central to Inturai’s mission to protect critical data in real-time sensor networks. Whether securing elder care systems, homes, or military operations, Inturai’s platform now integrates encryption strong enough to address the threats of today and tomorrow. The company expects much of its healthcare, drone and military pipeline to benefit from this breakthrough.

The global ESP32 module market size was estimated at approximately $2.1 billion in 2023 and is expected to reach $4.6 billion by 2032*.

Global dynamics towards post-quantum security

Governments in the United States, Canada, Australia and the European Union are calling for post-quantum security improvements to begin by 2026. In some cases, such as Australia and the EU, critical sectors such as defense and healthcare must complete the transition as early as 2028.

This global shift underscores the urgency and relevance of Inturai’s early deployment advantage in securing vital systems against emerging quantum threats.

This success positions Inturai at the forefront of spatial intelligence technology. The company’s ability to deliver secure, AI-powered sensing globally without major hardware or complexity is a critical step in building the next generation of intelligent, trusted environments.
